The Design Review Board functions as the decision-making body for the design of new development projects and most exterior changes to existing buildings. The Board also acts as an advisory body to the Planning Commission in cases also involving a land use decision. The Board's decisions can be appealed to the City Council, which can uphold the Board's decision, overturn it, or modify it. Come and join us!

The City would like your input on potential land use changes in Richmond’s Northshore to complement the existing Dotson Family Marsh (Point Pinole Regional Shoreline), including expanding parks, agriculture, and community facilities land uses. Your input will inform a possible General Plan Amendment in this area.
