The Design Review Board functions as the decision-making body for the design of new development projects and most exterior changes to existing buildings. The Board also acts as an advisory body to the Planning Commission in cases also involving a land use decision. The Board's decisions can be appealed to the City Council, which can uphold the Board's decision, overturn it, or modify it. Come and join us!

Share Your Vision - Upcoming Community Workshop!
In 2008, the City of Richmond held a series of community workshops that helped to shape the 23rd Street Streetscape Improvement Plan. Several years have passed and the City wants to re-engage the community to update that plan. These Community Workshops are your opportunity to share your ideas and provide input on the future design of 23rd Street.
