Senior Community Centers
The City of Richmond Recreation Department currently operates two senior community centers. The Richmond Senior Center is located at 2525 Macdonald Avenue and the Richmond Annex Senior Center is located at 5801 Huntington Avenue.

Both community centers offer a variety of educational, social, recreational, nutritional, and human service programs for adults 55 years and older.
Activities include daily exercise programs, art classes, nutritional lunch program, massage therapy, ballroom dancing, tai chi, country western line dancing, bingo, tap dancing, tango, swing dance, and game room activities like billiards, gin rummy, and bridge just to name a few.

Events & Services
The Richmond Senior Center hosts a monthly Sunday Tea Dance featuring Ann Jackson and the Manny Gutierrez Trio. Sundays vary by month, please call the Richmond Senior Center for dates and times. 
Other activities at the Senior Centers include HICAP Counseling, Blood Pressure Screening, Monthly Birthday Celebrations, as well as Home Repair Programs for low income, senior, or disabled residents and numerous special events. For more information please call (510)307-8140.
